PROJECTS FOR MUSLIM WOMEN:

Workshops and training sessions are conducted in our campus exclusively for Women in which free training is given in the following skills:

:: Screen Printing

:: Tailoring

:: Hand and machine embroidery

:: Artificial Jewellery making

:: Cultivation of herbs

:: Making of paper bags and soft toys

After the production, the trust helps the women in marketing their products . Exhibitions are conducted at our campus . Advertisement for such exhibitions are made by the trust in weekly tabloids and pamphlets are issued to the public. Buyer and seller meet is also arranged. This helps women to meet their daily need and they become financially independent.

FORMATION OF SELF HELP GROUPS:

The Trust already has one women Self Help Group which is actively functioning. The Management is taking all the efforts to support and guide people who are willing to form Self Help Group. As there is no awareness, there are very less self Help groups in our area. Our Co-ordinator Mrs. Abida Khaja Moideen is working among the people of our area to create awareness, motivate and form Self Help Groups.
