THE SYLLABUS FOR RRB EXAMS - BOTH TECHNICAL AND NON-TECHNICAL POSTS

The RRB exam is conducted by the various RRB boards all over the country. However, candidates need to be prepared for the exam prior to the exam date. If the candidate knows the details about the syllabus, he/she will be able to prepare and score well in the board. RRB exam also has a fixed syllabus that needs to be revised by the students. However, the syllabus is the same for all the posts.

Given Below Is the Syllabus for RRB Exam

The syllabus comprises of 4 subjects that are explained below:

GENERAL AWARENESS

The subject includes questions from current events and the current happenings that take place all over the world. This is to test how much the candidate knows about the general affairs.

ARTHEMATIC ABILITY 

The subject comprise of HCL, LCM, mensuration and algebra. Besides, there are other topics that are related to math and covered in syllabus till graduation.

GENERAL ENGLISH 

It contains questions on vocabulary, comprehension, sentence correction and paragraph rearrangement.
 
TECHNICAL SUBJECT

The technical subjects comprises of Electrical engineering,Mechanical engineering, electronics and communication, most of the questions will coming from NCVT books.

REASONING , MENTAL ABILTY, APTITUDE
 
The subject projects questions that are based on testing the sequence and series that are hidden in the questions and questions based on series of events. The subject contains verbal and non verbal sections. In the verbal section there are questions on number series, alphabet series, test of direction sense, coding – decoding, number ranking, arithmetical reasoning, problem on age calculation, blood relations, analogy and decision making etc. the non verbal section comprises of non verbal series, mirror images, cubes and dice, grouping identical figures and embedded figures etc.
